A little something Birthday Card

Every year I take the week between Christmas and New Years to create cards to send to all of our friends and family in the new year.  Here is one of the cards I did for the "tween" aged boys.  

Being the 7th of 9 kids you can imagine how large my list is.  I wish I had the money to buy gifts for all of my darling nieces and nephews but I don't. I do try and send a little something with the card to make it more exciting tho.  For this boy card I decided to go with Startburst candy.  I was originally going to have the candy on the outside of the card but decided it would add to the suspense if they knew there was something inside.      

I wish we lived closer to celebrate with our loved ones.  I hope these cards remind them just how much we love and miss them.
