Thank You Card

Before I get to the card, I just wanted to share a couple of things with you.  Today over at Pick Your Plum, they have the cutest little kids water bottles.  Hurry on over and grab yours!  Also, because this month is National Craft Month, if you purchase a Cricut Expression 2, you will get a $25 credit to be used on a digital cartridge!  Don't miss out, jump over to Cricut and grab yours now!  You know how much I LOVE my Cricut!
Are you ever in need of a simple Thank You card?  The thing that I love about making cards is that you can put one together so quickly, but they are so cute and fun to look at.  This one could be put together in just minutes!  All you need is cardstock for the basic card (kraft), some patterned paper (yellow), a strip of cardstock (pink), a stamp (thank you) along with an ink pad (brown), and an embellishment (flower with brad).

Start by cutting your paper to the size that you want it, and then ink all of your edges.  Stamp your saying onto the paper, then glue your paper down to the card base.  Then, using dimensional adhesive, put your embellishment on, and you are finished!
One of my favorite things about this card is that it looks Springy!  I'm so ready for Spring, and it seems to be coming.  The last few days we've had a taste of it and I'm getting excited!
Do you make cards?  What are some of your favorite techniques to use on them?
