Personalized Est. Sign

Do you remember the Simple Bridal Shower Gift I shared a while back? Well, my Mother-in-law asked me if I could make one for a friend’s daughter for a wedding gift. I’m not one that loves to make the exact same project more that once (although I’ve done it), so of course I had to pick out different fonts and colors.

I painted the board white, and then using my Silhouette, I cut the name and date out of vinyl, and used it as a stencil. Once it was all painted, I distressed it.

These kinds of projects are my favorite. They are so quick to come together! Once it was all dry, I just tied some baker’s twine around it and I was finished!

What is one of your favorite kinds of projects to make?
