I got the idea to make one of these from the magazine, Holiday Home. I made an outline of a star for the marker for each day, but did so after the pictures were taken. I thought it turned out okay, and I think the kids will have fun with it!
It is made with black cardstock for the backing, and then I just cut squares out of patterned papers, added ribbon, buttons, and the numbers. For the word ‘Halloween’, I used my Printing Press Cricut cartridge, and then used mod podge to paint every other letter and add glitter. I used Making Memories rub-ons for the ‘count’ and an American Crafts chipboard arrow for the arrow. 🙂 It was very fun and simple to make!

This is sooo cute. I can’t wait to see how you do the marker for each day.
Oh my goodness!!!! When are you going to have a little class so we can come play!!!
I saw this on Tip Junkie and loved it. I have posted it for this week on my blog, but if that is not okay with you, I will take it down. I credited you, of course. Would you mind describing exactly how you did it? What is the back made of? So so so cute!
