I know I’m a little late but I wanted to get the rest of my Valentines Day stuff posted.
I got this mail box tin from the dollar section in Target. (I love that spot) I had fun decorating it with cute paper and matching ribbon.
Starting Feb. 1st we wrote random little valentines to each other. The kids had fun watching to see if the flag was up and any time they put something in they would say funny things like, Hmmm…I wonder if we have any valentine mail??? Or you should go look at our small mailbox. 🙂
Everyone took part and it was a lot of fun.
{R} and I decided to keep things simple this year as far as gifts went. He loves these oreo truffels I make so I of course had to make him some.
As I was cleaning up and about to throw the cream cheese box away I thought, “Hey, that would make a cute little box to give him his gift in.” so…
I careful ripped the box apart to lay it flat and used it as a template for his gift box.
It turned out really cute and {R} loved it.
He obviously got more than just 6, but it was a fun way to give them to him.
I tied some cute ribbon around them and it was complete.
