Do you have a go to gift that you use for school teachers? For teacher appreciation week in the spring, I’ve shared this and this that are both creative gift ideas, and my boys teachers have loved them! For Christmas this year, I decided I wanted to give the teachers something that was more for them at home rather than for the classroom. I sure hope they like them!
When I found out that Ali from Lemon Poppy Inc. was having a little Christmas boutique at my aunts house, I knew I wanted to go pick up some “When Life Gives You Christmas” cookbooks. I thought they would be such a fun teacher gift. The thing that I love about these books is that there is a picture for every recipe, they are inexpensive, they are very high quality as well, and the recipes are easy!
So anyway, since I love these books, I thought my boys teachers would as well. After I had my books in hand, I wanted to make them cute. I headed to the dollar store and picked up some measuring spoons and rubber scrappers. I picked up a big pack of cookie cutters at Wal-mart.
Once I had all the stuff to put these together, I got to work. I put the cookbook, rubber scrapper, and measuring spoons in the cellophane bag along with some decorative filler.
I used some of my fun Christmas twine to tie the bags shut and then I attached a cookie cutter and a washi tape gift tag to the outside.
I’m excited to have my boys give these to their teachers, and I hope that they like them.
Guess what?! Ali from Lemon Poppy Inc. has so graciously given me two books to giveaway to two of you! I did them up like I did for the teachers, so they are ready to be given as gifts, or you can keep it if you’d like. There will be two winners.
This is open to US residents only. Giveaway will end at 11:59 pm on December 13. I’ll announce the winner December 14. Enter using rafflecopter below. All entries will be verified!
