This year I didn’t have enough time to finish all the Valentine Decorations that I wanted to do. I still have at least one project on my list. Even though today is Valentine’s Day, I’m still sharing these fun little Valentine Candlestick Mailboxes with you, along with the super fun Stamped Envelopes that I put together. I think the envelopes are my favorite!

On the candlesticks, I bought two different sizes. I painted them gray and then painted them the colors that I wanted them. Then distressed them. The gray shows well on the pink one.

On the blue one, the gray came off with the blue when I distressed, so I just went with it. I sealed them with some Mod Podge sealer. I love that stuff. Then they were ready for ribbon. I just tied some on.

Target had these mailboxes this year, but they only had one left when I got there. So I reused this one that I picked up a few years ago. I was ready for a change.

Using my Cricut Expression I cut out the heart, arrow, key, and words. I think if I did it again, I’d use a different paper for the Love Notes. It’s just a little hard to read.

One of my favorite things that I did to the flags was to add these little hearts.

What fun is having mailboxes without any mail. I realize that these envelopes would in no way fit in the mailboxes, but they are still fun!

Using my Cricut again, I cut out a bunch of different colored stamp shapes and hearts. I also cut out some post mark designs. I ran all of them through my Xyron sticker maker so they would be easy to put on the envelopes.

I also put a few of the envelops through the Cuttlebug to emboss them! I ♥ the way they turned out!!! I wish there was a better way to show all of the envelopes, but I really wanted them tied together, and I really do love the way they look.

So, if that isn’t what happy mail should look like, I don’t know what is. 🙂

Are you ready to be done with Valentine’s? After helping my kids get all of their ready for school, I could be done. I’m just not sure if I want to be done having the decor up in my house.
