Packaging for Homemade Treat – Neighbor Gift Idea

It is getting to be that time of year, time to start thinking about what you are going to be giving to your neighbors for Christmas. It seems like every year, I end up making up some treats and giving them to the neighbors. Everyone likes treats, right? Especially during the holidays! Today I’m going to share how I dressed up this simple can for Packaging for Homemade Treats to give as a Christmas gift to a neighbor, teacher or friend.

I found these cans at Target a little while back, aren’t they adorable?! I don’t know why, but I love cut little packaging like this. I put some crinkled up paper in the bottom, then added some kisses, and cookies.

On the lid, I made a simple accordion/lollie, added a button and then glued it to the top of the can.

I added a give tag and we were good to go! Not only would this be perfect to give to a neighbor, but also friends, or teachers. This gift would work for anyone.

If you are looking for more Neighbor gift ideas, then you are in luck. Today, I’m part of the Neighbor Gift Blog Hop that Our Thrifty Ideas put together. Check out all the awesome posts below.

I love this! May ask how long ago did you pick them up at Target? What department did you find them in?
    Thanks,
    ~M~

Hi Michelle, Thank you! It was last season that I found them at Target. They were in the Dollar Spot section. I haven’t seen them this year, hopefully they will get them again.
