Christmas time is such a magical time of year. There are so many things that well all could and should be doing, but it seems like there is never enough time for all of it to be done. One of the things that I have wanted to do for YEARS is wrap all the gifts in pretty gift wrap. I always seem to run out of time, and end up wrapping everything on Christmas Eve! Well, this year, I’ve gotten some wrapped! I’m so excited about it too. Today I’m sharing these Christmas Gift Wrapping Ideas with you!

When I was looking through the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog, and saw this paper, stamp set, and punch, I knew that I needed them. Stampin’ Up! sent them right over to me, so I could share them with you, and I couldn’t be more excited about it! You still have time to place your order and have these in time for Christmas!

You’ll need:

  • Nordic Noel Designer Series Paper
  • Whisper White Cardstock
  • Merry Everything Stamps
  • Classic Stampin’ Pads – Real Red, Baked Brown Sugar, Garden Green
  • Stampin’ Block
  • Note Tag Punch
  • Hole Punch
  • Baker’s Twine, Jute Twine, Burlap Ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Paper Trimmer
  • Adhesive
  • Brown Wrapping Paper

Start off by wrapping all of your gifts in brown paper. Using the stamps & block, ink and Whisper White Cardstock, stamp your tags onto the cardstock.

Punch them all out.

Use a 1/8″ hole punch to punch holes in the tags.

Depending on the size of your packages, these will be different every time. Cut strips of paper for the tops of your packages. I cut this one into a strip and then cut triangles out of each end.

Use your adhesive to adhere it to your package.

Stick it on.

Use twine or ribbon to tie around the package.

Add your tags to the twine strings.

Tie it in a bow or however you’d like. I added two tags to some, and one tag to others.

I love the look of brown paper packages, but it is even better when they are slightly embellished with pretty paper!

I was surprised at how quickly it really was to decorate the packages and make them look pretty like this! I love that I already have pretty gifts under the tree too! My kids like it as well. They like finding their name on them, but who doesn’t?!

So head on over to Stampin’ Up! and order your supplies! Most of these supplies are only available until January 5, 2015. (Yikes! I just wrote 2015! How can it be that already?!)

So cute! It’s funny how great simple brown craft paper looks so good when you dress it up a bit.

I absolutely love these. I am also wrapping my gifts in brown craft paper but mainly for the fact that it’s more durable for our travels this year. But I’m loving the idea of decorating them a little more like this. Thanks for sharing
