Months ago, I bought these fun candy tubes from Pick Your Plum. I bought them and put them in my stash of cute you-never-know-when-you-might-need-this packaging, not knowing for sure what I would use them for. Well, the other day we ended up buying lots of kisses and hugs candies for my sons science fair project, and we only used 10 total candies out of the 5 bags that we bought….then it hit me. I bet those kisses/hugs would fit in these tubes. And they did, and they fit better than I thought they would. I like the way they stack back and forth! ANYWAY, like you really needed to read all that, ha! This Hugs for You – Valentine with Printable was fun to put together because it seriously was so fast! I don’t know about you guys, but the older my kids get, the less time I feel like I have to do much of anything. And that is okay, but I still enjoy creating and sharing, so some of the projects are just getting easier and faster.
I designed this printable and printed it out. (One of these days I’m going to get myself a new printer, that doesn’t leave lines in the print, but until then, just bear with me.)
If you’d like to print one out for yourself, watermark free of course, you can find it here. Printables from The Happy Scraps are for personal use only.
Once I had my tags printed, I cut them apart, and then I punched a hole in the corner. I used my valentine (pink/red twist) baker’s twine to tie the tag on.
That’s it! So easy, and I’m sure anyone you give this to would love a “hug”! I know I sure wouldn’t complain! 🙂
