If you follow along over on Instagram, then you might know that I’ve been working on my kitchen. This coming November it will be two years since we moved into our home. I’ve tried a few different things in the kitchen, but I just couldn’t quite figure out how I wanted the kitchen to be decorated. Once I figured out the type of decor I wanted, it made decorating the kitchen much easier. I decided that I really liked the farmhouse style, so I kind of went that direction with my kitchen. I’ll be sharing the full kitchen reveal and decor later this week, but for now, I’m sharing these Farmhouse Inspired Kitchen Towels with you. I adore the way these turned out! It seems like most times when I see farmhouse towels, they are black and white, and I really like the way the gray and white look!

Farmhouse Inspired Kitchen Towels Supplies:
Cut your design out from Cricut Design Space using your Cricut Explore Air 2 or Cricut Maker. I designed these towels using fonts on my computer as well as designs in Design Space that come with Cricut Access. I uploaded the font designs after designing them, and then added the shapes. Once I had the whole design I wanted in Design Space, I cut it out using my Cricut Explore Air 2. Once cut, I place the design on the BrightPad so I could see exactly where I needed to weed my design, then weeded it using the weeding tools.
Now I was ready to place the image onto my towel. I picked up a pack of towels from Target, and they needed to be ironed. So before I placed the image/decal, I ironed my towel and got it nice and straight. Once ironed, I folded up the towel and figured out just where I wanted the image to be put on it.
I warmed my towel with the iron, before placing the decal.
Then I placed the decal onto the towel.
I placed another towel over the top of the design/decal.
Then I started ironing it. Follow the direction on your iron on vinyl package to know how long to iron for.
Let it cool and then peel the plastic cover off.
These towels turned out way better than I thought they would, and I adore them. I have a double oven and I currently have both of these side by side on the top oven, and my family has been instructed not to use them… 😉 We have towel to use on the bottom oven.
These go so well with all the decor in my kitchen too! I kind of love it!
Here is the other towel that I did. I’ve seen this saying a lot, but I really need this reminder, because I’m not so great at just rolling with it. 🙂
So, if you made towels for your kitchen, what would they say?
I’d love to hear your ideas and suggestions!
Be sure to stop by later this week to see my kitchen reveal and where I have these cute towels hanging in my kitchen.
