I don’t know what it is about the first of the year, but after the holidays I have such a hard time getting back into the swing of things with blogging. I always take a couple of weeks off in December, but after the break it’s hard to get back into the groove of creating, writing, and sharing. Anyway, I did get my act together and pulled some cute valentine ideas together. Today I’m sharing this You Make My Heart Spring Valentine.

You Make My Heart Spring Valentine Supplies:
- Valentine, You Make My Heart Spring Printable (for personal use only) (I printed mine on cardstock)
- Mini Heart Shaped Springs
- Paper Trimmer
- Paper Crafting Set
Once you have your valentines printed out, use the paper trimmer to cut them apart.
Once cut out, use the paper piercer to poke a hole where you want the slinky to sit.
Slide the end of the slinky into the hole. Twist it around until the slinky sits where you want it.
This is what the back of the valentine looks like once you have the slinky in.
This is it from the front.
Put the slinkys on all of the valentine cards.
This is a great valentine for your kids to hand out at school. It’s candy free, but the kids will still enjoy it. Just have your child write their name on the bottom or the back and they’ll be excited to hand them out in class too!
The three dimensional look that the slinky gives the valentine is so fun!
Won’t your kids be excited to hand out this You Make My Heart Spring Valentine to all of their friends and classmates?
