Summer is in full swing around our house and we are to the point during the summer that my kids are fighting, and mom is yelling and all that kind of fun stuff. π Please tell me that I’m not the only one that has this happen?! After a few good weeks of the kids being home, it seems like they all start pushing each others buttons which in turn pushes my buttons. It also means that I’m getting to the point during the summer that I don’t seem to have much time at all to get the things done that I’d like to do or want to do. Such is life as a mother. It’s rough sometimes, but I know it’ll all be worth it! π I do love my boys and am so grateful that I get to be their mom, it’s just hard sometimes. I’m sure that anyone that is a mother knows what I mean. Anyway, that isn’t what I came here to share about today. I want to share this fun new So I Can Kiss You Master Bedroom Throw Pillow with you today. I decided a few months ago that I wanted to replace the I Love Us Pillow that I’ve had for a while with something a little smaller, so this is what I came up with.

So I Can Kiss You Master Bedroom Throw Pillow Supplies:
- Cricut Maker or Cricut Explore Air 2
- Navy Blue EasyWeed Heat Transfer Vinyl
- Texas Orange EasyWeed Heat Transfer Vinyl
- Throw Pillow Cover
- EasyPress
- EasyPress Mat
- Cut File (for personal use only)
I uploaded my design into Cricut Design Space and then used the slice tool to make it be two different colors. You can see how to do that here. Once I had it ready, I clicked the “Make It” button.
Then I cut it with the Cricut Maker.
Once I had the designs weeded, I pulled out the EasyPress and EasyPress Mat. I set the EasyPress to the settings I needed for this project.
I placed the navy blue words on the pillow cover first. I positioned them where I wanted them and measured to make sure they were centered.
Then, with the EasyPress Mat under the pillow cover, I used the EasyPress to iron-on the design. Have I ever told you how much I love the timer on the EasyPress?! Seriously, no more counting in my head! π
Once the navy blue words were on the pillow, I peeled the carrier sheet from those. I placed the orange words onto the pillow and got them in the right place.
Then I placed the carrier sheet back over the top of the navy blue design. You never want to press on iron-on materials without a carrier sheet. It will melt. Unfortunately, I know this from experience. Once you have the carrier sheet covering everything, you are good to use the EasyPress again and press the orange.
Once it’s all pressed, peel the carrier sheet off.
This was really such a quick and easy project and I’m so excited to have a new pillow on our bed!
If you made a pillow for your master bedroom, what would it say?
I love how well the EasyWeed adheres to things. It is on there so good!
I thought maybe I would miss the darker colored accent pillow when I took the I Love Us pillow away and replaced it with this So I Can Kiss You Master Bedroom Throw Pillow, but so far, I’m loving the bright and refreshing white pillow with pops of orange and navy. It’s so fun!
I also think the change from a long rectangular pillow to a square pillow is just the change that my bed needed.
Now I just need to decide if I really want the furniture painted white…It would match my bedding better if it was white, but I don’t know if I want to go to all the work of painting it. We just recently got this set. My mom had it and was moving and didn’t have a place for this anymore, so we got it. I’ve always loved this set, but I didn’t realize that it was so far from white until we put our bedspread on it. Oh well, it will stay this way for now.
