A Thank You gift is always better late than never right. It took me FOREVER to get this Thank You to where it needed to be. Back on July 10th, my bff Debbie’s mom came and did my son’s birthday party. She was the most perfect clown! I loved it, the kids loved it, and all the adults there loved it too! It was fabulous! I FINALLY got the Thank You to her mom! Anyway, enough about that! 🙂
I picked up this cute little tin at Target in their dollar section. My husband was with me and he suggested that I get some and I could put vinyl on them. What a great idea it was. I used my Stamped Cricut cartridge and cut the vinyl. Then I filled it with Rootbeer Barrel candies.I made this little card to match, and I also stuck a gift card inside of it. I didn’t want to just give the gift card holder that you get with the card, I wanted to make it cute! 🙂 When writing in the card, I included “we had a barrel of fun!” I used a fiskars punch for the cute border, and then cut the scalloped square with the Mini Monograms cartridge on my Cricut.
I used foam dimension squares to lift the center stamped piece.
Then I wrapped the can in printed cellophane that I picked up at the dollar store, and tied the card to the front with some ric rac.
Here is a (not so great) picture of the whole thing!! This picture really doesn’t do it justice, but I don’t have it anymore to be able to take a better picture of it.
I bought a whole bunch of those little square tins at Target, so I can’t wait to see what other fun things to come up with, with them!
