A month or so ago, I was shopping at Joann’s and I found some Halloween Martha Stewart glitter. It was such fun colors, that I couldn’t resist and I got some. (I normally don’t by the Martha Stewart brand of things, but I LOVE the glitter.) I didn’t know what I was going to do with it at the time that I bought it, but this is what I came up with. I thought about using some patterned paper for the backing, but then I thought I would just keep it simple. I used black and white glitter on the black cardstock to make a spider, bat, and a web. Then I used the colored glitter for the letters.
Here is the spider with the orange e.
and the bat with the purple e.
and the white spider web with the k. The white glitter looks kind of green, but I used the white glitter…oh well.
I’m running out of room to put all of this Halloween decor that I’ve been making, but I did find a spot to put these.
And for the frames, I just went to the thrift store and found some and spray painted them black. I love the middle one with the pretty design it has. After I got them hung up, I was wishing I would have done more variation in the frame size, but I still like it. 🙂
Have you ever used Martha Stewarts glitter? Do you like it?
