Here are some MORE blocks I made. I was so excited when I finished these, I love how they turned out!
I used this very cute Apple Cider line of paper by Imaginisce. I couldn’t wait to get it done…and I can’t wait to find more things to use this paper for! I {heart} this paper!
I only put ribbon on one block, and I really like how it turned out. I did use 4 different ribbons.
I kind of wish I would have used cream color vinyl for the H, but I still love how it turned out with the red. 🙂 With these blocks, I did stained edges, inked the edges of my paper with brown ink, and used mod podge to adhere them to the blocks. I stuck the vinyl on and added the ribbon and that was it. I decided to leave the top coat off on these and see how it went.
I got them done just in time to have up for about a week, and as soon as Thanksgiving is over, I’ll put up my Christmas decor. I can’t wait!

Hello!!! This project rocks!!! I seriously want to have wood blocks everywhere!!! Thank you so much for sharing with us at Paper Issues!!!
=)
LOVE your Harvest blocks. I made some Give Thanks blocks a couple of years ago, but yours are WAY cuter 🙂
Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting about my features for Thrilling Thursday. Since everyone seemed to be in agreement about keeping them, I am happy to announce that the features will be back on Thrilling Thursday next week.

These are adorable! I love it!!!
So cute!!! Can we sit down and make some decorations when I get back?
SO cute!
Featuring this on Thrilling Thursday tomorrow. Thanks for linking up!
Oh I LOVE these, especially because I have some of that exact same paper. Even though harvest paper was the last thing I needed, I just couldn’t pass it up at the store. I can’t tell if yours also has shiny parts like mine does, but if so this is such a nice way to use them. This way you can really see the detail in the paper.
You are genius for starting work of Christmas before me. Those circles and cutting shape of paper work is too wonderful. At the place of 25th, I make it with Santa-clause, without date and day.
Hi there. Can you tell me what heights you used for the blocks. I’m assuming the wood is 2×4 but I’m wondering what the different heights are. Thanks.
VERY NICE use of wood blocks! TFS I will definitely be giving this a try! Note that I found this post on a SCS forum thread. The thread was referenced in today’s Weekly Inkling (6.13.12 SCS newsletter.) 🙂
