My husband LOVES to hunt. I think if he had time, he’d go every weekend. I don’t mind going with him either. It’s kind of fun for me too (although I wouldn’t enjoy going every weekend). In 2009 we went early one morning and my little boys LOVED it. I was excited to get some cute pictures of them hunting with their dad.
Here is the scrapbook page that I came up with, with the pictures.
It’s a two page layout.
I like what these brads add to the side. Also on the edge of the blue cardstock, I used a distresser, to fray the edges.
I also used the same technique on these little tags to label the pictures.
I’ve had these cute little license plate embellishments for a while and I was excited to find a place to use one.
And to finish it all off, I decided to draw a border. I did it first with brown, but it wasn’t very dark, so I did it again with black, and I like how it turned out.
On the larger pieces of paper used I inked the edges with brown.
And of course I used my Cricut to cut the title with the Plantin’ Schoolbook cartridge.
It’s been a lot of fun working scrapbook pages lately and not just decor. I’m trying to focus of this a little more, because I really want to get more pages done. Watch for more layouts to come soon.
