Back in August, my husband and I celebrated our 9 year anniversary. We went to Boondocks on our date, and we had so.much.fun!! I was so excited that they had a photo booth there, and I was happy to get some pictures in the booth. I had the pictures hanging in my room, just waiting to be scrapbooked, and I finally got to it! I am so happy about the way this page turned out! If you’ve been reading this blog long, you’ve probably noticed that I normally use a piece of cardstock for the base of my pages, well, on this one, I used ALL patterned paper, except for the title. It was really fun to challenge myself.
I thought this bottle cap was a fun element to add.
As anyone who has been married for 9 or more years, you would probably agree that there have been ups and downs in your marriage, that is why I used the Mini Monograms cartridge for my Cricut to cut the title. The font is all different, but when put together it looks great, just like a marriage that’s been through ups and downs. Am I even making any sense, lol!
I saved the receipt from that night and put it on the page as well. I didn’t think about it until after that I hope the information doesn’t disappear because of the kind of receipt it is. I might have to pull it off and copy it then put the page back together with the copy. We will see. 🙂
I did minimal journaling on the front, but I wrote a note to my husband on the back, that is something I want recorded, but I don’t want everyone who looks at my scrapbooks to read.
I’m so glad to have the memory of our 9 year anniversary date, and to have it put down on paper as well.
Have you scrapbooked any anniversary layouts? I would love to see them. If so, leave a link in the comments.

Very cute!
That is adorble. I love the all patterned paper looks, way to go. The pictures are adorable and capture well how fun you two are. Once again, this makes me want to scrapbook. Soon…I hope 🙂
