I think I’ve got all of my Christmas decor up now, so I thought I’d do a post with it all in one. 🙂
When we first started having kids, we picked up these stockings from Walmart. We only got enough for my husband and I and two kids. Well, now we have four kids, and they don’t sell them anymore. Even though we don’t use these stockings anymore, I decided to hang them with our stocking hangers {that we got years ago at an after Christmas clearance sale and I don’t think we’ve ever used them!}.
Last year I picked up these six cheap stockings from Walmart, so that we had enough for our whole family. I wrapped some greenery around the top and bottom of the banister, and then used some red polka dot ribbon to tie the stockings to the rail. I think it’s kind of fun. This is the view from the front door. Here are my Joy blocks and also my Christmas countdown. I made both of these last year.
And our tree, along with the ruffled tree skirt.
Here is the Mini Muffin Tin Advent Calendar. Although I had it last year, it didn’t get used, so it’s a fun addition this year.
This is the Christmas part of the Merry Christmas blocks that I did last year as well.
Of course I can’t forget the Dr. Seuss trees, that my boys made. I ♥ them!
Here is the Tabletop Manger as well.
And last but not least, my Silhouette Nativity. I LOVE this one.
I didn’t get everything made this year like I would have liked to {but knew I probably wouldn’t!} but I did get more done than I thought I would. I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing all of the decor for the season this year!

Everything looks so nice Amy! Have a very Merry Christmas!!!
I love it all! You are soo talented.
I LOVE it all. Your home is always so peaceful and welcoming. I love all the little details!
Dear Amy,
I love the nativity that you made for the boys to handle. I never thought I would be into nativities but they do grow on you after a while. I currently have nine. The Willow Tree set is one of my favorites and in the house we currently live in the isn’t room to display it. We want to remodel and add-on and in the process make a prayer room to house my antique kneeler that was purchased in England. I plan on putting this nativity in this room and leave it up year round.
The Willow tree set can be purchased a little less expensively if you are diligent. I hit after Christmas sales and stores that were closing and bought it a section at a time. Within a month/six weeks I had the entire original set. I don’t have the cow or goat yet but keep an eye out at the stores where they are located. Just FYI.
Sincerely,
Maureen
P.S. My most unusual set my Mom bought me in Alaska when she and my Dad went there on vacation. It’s cute as in these are polar bears, seals and moose and an igloo.
I love love love your tree, it is so full and beautiful! It looks so great in your house! Maybe next year I’ll have you teach me how to make a tree skirt I love yours so much! I’m so glad your ready for christmas, I hope you guys have a wonderful christmas! I am so so so grateful to have you as a friend. I love you so much!
Your Christmas crafts are all so cute! I’ve been wanting to make that nativity for awhile now, maybe next year. 🙂
