This week, I got the chance to go to the Doodlebug Design headquarters. It was SO fun! We got to make cards, shop in their showroom, have a tour of the building, and spend time with other creative women. Believe it or not, although I was SO excited to go, when it came down to it, I was nervous. I knew of some of the other woman that would be there, and I feel like they are such celebrities in the blogging world, so I was nervous, and I’m shy. But it was so fun! I’m looking forward to the next time that I get to get together with these creative women again!
The first thing we all have the chance to do after we arrived, was make a card. This is the card that I created while there. I’m so used to creating cards from scratch, that it was actually a little bit challenging for me to make this one. 🙂 As weird as that sounds!
I loved this colorful flower that I found for the center of the card.
And seriously, how adorable are these envelopes!?! Scalloped edges with polka dots inside?! LOVE it!
I love all of the bright colors of the furniture!! It was so fun!
Isn’t this display of cute cards just to die for? Love that pink frame! And those little bowls full of buttons?! I wish I had space to have cute things like that in a craft space. I’m just thankful for the corner in my bedroom that I have to create in.
My husband and I are both scuba certified, and he loves fish, so when I saw this cute diorama type layout, I had to take a picture.
They also had a door prize drawing, and I won this cute pack of 6×6 papers! It’s got lots of glittery paper, along with paper for a bunch of different holidays.
It was like a dream come true for me to be able to go to a scrapbook manufacturer headquarters again! {Debbie and I did get to go to American Crafts a few years ago, and that was awesome!} It was so inspiring to get to hear the story of how it all started and how far the company has come in the 12 years they’ve been in business. Thank you to Cynthea and Tonya for letting us all invade.
