You know I love my Cricut, so when Cricut comes out with a new cartridge I’m always excited to play with it! They have a brand new Monster Bash cartridge out that will make “Spookifying” your home for Halloween, SO simple! I had so much fun playing with it.
I’m not one that loves the scary side of Halloween, so these projects are just my type.
I started by cutting out 40 of each of these candy corn pieces. I prefer to put them all in different layers in Cricut Craft Room, so that when I cut, I can just put the color of paper on the mat that I need, and cut all of them at the same time, and you can also make sure that the sizing is right.
Once they were all cut out, I had my son help me layer them all together.
Using a large needle and some brown baker’s twine, I threaded them all together. No gluing!
They are just the perfect size too, 2.25″ from top to bottom.
I love that I didn’t have to glue these together, and they lay perfectly, and I was able to finish this little banner in about 30 minutes.
On the Monster Bash cartridge there is two graphics that, when put together, make up the word Halloween. As soon as I saw them, I knew that I wanted to make me a painted sign with them. So, I put them together, and cut them out with vinyl. I used the negative of the vinyl and painted the letters the colors that I wanted. I adore the way that it turned out! This was also a very simple and quick project. It only took me about 30 minutes as well.
