A couple of weeks ago, I had a friend call me with an idea in mind, to make one of these Be.YOU.tiful blocks for a girls camp craft. I told her that I would be happy to help her out. I put one together so she could show the other leaders at one of their meetings, and this is how it turned out.
I painted the block (I had the block on hand, but it came from The Wood Connection). I sanded the edges, and then put the vinyl on. I cut the vinyl using my Cricut Explore machine. I tied some ribbon around the block and we were good to go. It took about 20 minutes to put together.
I just thought I’d share it with you, just in case you are looking for a simple craft that could be used for a summer project or a craft for girls camp as well.

What a fantastic idea! I love the simplicity of it and how beautiful it looks.

Love this! What fonts did you use on your cricut?
For this project, I used system fonts on my computer and cut them with the Cricut Explore. Comparable cartridge fonts would be Plantin Schoolbook and maybe Opposites Attract for the cursive font. Here is the link to the font that I used for the word “You”. I http://www.dafont.com/janda-stylish-script.font
