Last month I was invited to attend the Stampin’ Up! Convention. I was so excited to go! It was so fun to see the excitement that all of the Stampin’ Up! demonstrators had. The part that I enjoyed the most was seeing all the fun examples, and things others had created. I also enjoyed seeing the brand new items that are in the newest catalog. While I was there, one of the classes I went to used the fun Amazing Birthday stamp set, so they gave me one so I could use it in the class. I loved this stamp set so much as soon as I saw it! It is just my style. 🙂 So, after I got home, I was inspired to create several different projects using one stamp set. I created nine, and thought I’d share them with you today.
This stamp set is seriously so fun!
I pulled out the ink that I had on hand, I and got to work. One of my favorite things to do, when stamping and making cards, is to stamp on paper and then cut the stamped image apart. That is how I got the multiple colors of HAPPY for this card. Wouldn’t that card make you happy to receive on your birthday?
This one could be for a birthday as well, but it could also be used just to let someone know you are thinking about them. I used a paper straw on this car, and the stamped image is lifted off the card by using dimension squares.
When I started working on these cards, I was so excited that I headed out to JoAnn’s and picked up a couple of fun punches to use. One was a banner/flag shape, and the other was this hexagon punch. It is a fun one to use!
This is a little treat bag that could be used for so many things. Slip a cookie in it, and give to someone to brighten their day. Another fun thing I did on this was I stamped on the clothes pin. So simple, but so fun!
This is a little fabric bag that I picked up in the Dollar Spot at Target a while back. I thought they were fun. I decided to try stamping on the bag. I colored the stamp different colors for each section, then stamped it on. It is kind of hard to see it very well in the picture, but it actually turned out really well. It could be used as a small gift bag, or something else.
One thing I really love about making cards is that you can use up all those little scraps! That is what I did on all of these cards. For this card, I used a couple of larger pieces of paper scraps, inked the edges, and then added the stamped flag shape and the stamped HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY Birthday. I also love to add ribbon or twine. It just makes it fun.
I had a scrap of gold glitter paper left over from the project/class at the Stampin’ Up! Convention, so I decided to use it on this card. One of the cards we made at the convention was similar to this one.
Here is another little treat bag. I stamped on the clothes pin again here, and instead of using washi tape to close the bag, I tied it shut by punching holes in the corner and stringing some twine through them.
This card is pretty simple. I used the banner/flag stamp, along with the punch I have and adhered those to the card, and then I used dimension squares to put the circle images on.
These are the nine projects that I came up with, all using the one stamp set, Amazing Birthday.
Disclosure: I was given this stamp set, but not with the expectation that I would write a post about it. Stampin’ Up! did not ask me to write this post, nor are they compensating me for it. I’m sharing this post with you because I enjoyed using these products, and thought you might like them as well. All opinions and ideas in this post are 100% mine.
