Framed Haunted House

Have you heard that Cricut has a new cuttable material? Cricut sent me some Window Cling material to try, and it is SO.MUCH.FUN! I’ll be honest, when I first heard about it, I thought “I can do the same thing with vinyl,” which is true, but you can play with this, and move it around, which is something that you can’t do with vinyl. You can use the window cling to create easy-on, easy-off static cling decals. You can use this material in any Cricut machine, not just the Explore.  Use it for parties, holiday decorations, school decor, kids activities, etc. There are so many fun things you can do with it. Today I’m sharing this fun Framed Haunted House that I put together using the window cling.

You’ll need just a few supplies, these are affiliate links.

  • Cricut Explore Machine or other Cricut Machine
  • Cricut Window Cling Material
  • Cricut 12×12 Light Grip Mat
  • Frame, and paper to go in frame (color of choice)

If you would like to use the same images that I used, you can find my file here. Cut your images.

I put a piece of kraft cardstock into my frame, and made sure the glass was nice and clean. Once your images are all cut, just peel them up off of the backing, and stick them on the glass that you’d like them on. Windows, mirrors, frames, bottles, etc. The possibilities are endless! I’m going to let my kids play with this frame, and move the stuff around. Make the pumpkins and bats do silly things. 🙂

I almost couldn’t believe how easy this material was to work with. So easy, and just FUN! Head on over and grab some window cling for you to have some fun with. I used orange, white, and black, but they also have red and green.
