Do you ever see something and think, that is simply amazing, and I want one! That is what I thought the first time that I saw these Personalized Family Portrait Drawings from Ink Puddles by Karin! A friend of mine had shared her family portrait of FB, and I loved it, so I started stalking the Ink Puddles by Karin FB Page.

Karin contacted me and offered to draw our family, and I was over the moon excited! I filled out the form on her site, and told her in detail, all about my family. I also sent along a couple of pictures.

I love that the Ink puddles portraits are so personalized, but they are also cute and colorful, custom drawings of your favorite people printed on an 8 x 10 cold-pressed watercolor paper. These pictures can also be printed on objects like fridge magnets and canvas totes for an additional fee.

A few weeks after I filled out the form, I got a cute little package delivered to my door. I was so excited to open it! I opened it up, and I cried. I cried because of how perfect it is. All the little details of all the things that each of us like to do. It really couldn’t be more perfect! And the attention to detail. I promise if you order one of these portraits for your family, you won’t be disappointed!

I grabbed an 8×10 frame that I had on hand and put it in. I still haven’t found the perfect place to put this in our home, but I’m looking! I’m considering rearranging one of my gallery walls to fit it in. 🙂 I’m also considering ordering some of these for gifts for grandparents. Or how cool would it be to order one for a friend (of the friends family) as a gift.

Now a little surprise for you…Karin is so gracious and is giving away an Ink Puddles Portrait (up to 8 people) to one lucky reader! This giveaway ends March 16, 2015, at 11:59pm. The winner will be announced on March 17. This giveaway is open to US residents (in the lower 48 states), 18 years and older.

Oh it’s just perfect! What talent she has! Can’t wait to see where you end out putting it, but I’m sure it will shine regardless of where it ends up! It’s truly a work of art! 🙂
