Hi friends! How are you today? I’m feeling a little like a chicken with my head cut off today, but I’m surviving. 🙂 When you’ve had kids, did you have a nursery that was all decorated for the baby? I just had my fifth baby a couple of months ago, and I’ve never had a real nursery for any of them. Well, I’ve decided with this baby, that I want a nursery for him. Right now the space we have for him is a nook in our bedroom. It’s the perfect little place for a baby! I’m using the same colors for the nook as I am in our master bedroom, so it all matches. Today I’m going to show you how I made this DIY Baby Mobile, to hang over his crib. Over the next few weeks, I’ll share all of the nursery with you, so keep an eye out. 😉

Supplies:
- Cricut Explore Machine
- Embroidery Hoop
- Fishing Line
- Cardstock in colors of choice
I started by taking my embroidery hoop and tying fishing line on it, creating an X.
Using my Cricut Explore machine, I cut out the different shapes I wanted to use, out of the paper in the colors I wanted. I used my crop-a-dile to punch holes in the top of my shapes.
I used a random method and tied the shapes onto a strand of fishing line. In all, I did five strands. One in the center with four items on it, then four around the sides with three items on them. Then I tied the strings onto the hoop.
Then I took it and hung it above the crib.
I love the way this turned out, and I also LOVE the way it spins on it own, and my baby loves to watch it as well!
