Ever since I discovered that I could pick up inexpensive pillow covers from IKEA, I’ve been on a pillow kick. I love how simple it is to add some iron-on vinyl to a pillow cover and I’ve got a new holiday pillow in just a few minutes! Today I’m sharing this Lucky Shamrock St. Patrick’s Day Pillow with you, and it’s so easy to make, you still have time to get it made before St. Patrick’s Day.

Lucky Shamrock St. Patrick’s Day Pillow Supplies:
- Cricut Explore Air 2
- 12 x 24 Standard Grip Mat
- Gold Glitter Iron-on Vinyl
- Lucky Shamrock Cricut File
- Green 20 x 20 Pillow Cover (I would recommend heading to your nearest IKEA to pick this up.)
- Iron or EasyPress
Once you have your pillow designed (0r you can use mine here), you’ll cut your iron on glitter.
When you cut iron-on material, you want to make sure that you mirror the image (click the box on the computer before you cut) as well as place the iron-on material on your mat, shiny side down.
Once your image is cut, weed the parts that you don’t need. The weeding tool works great!
Press your pillow cover so it is nice and smooth.
Place your iron-on vinyl onto the pillow where you want it. Place a cloth over the top of it, and iron it. Refer to the instructions that come with the iron-on material.
Once you’ve ironed your image onto the pillow, you’ll peel up the plastic covering.
Grab a pillow form and put it in your pillow. I love that I can store these pillow covers with my holiday decor, and they don’t take up space. I change out the pillow covers, and only have a couple of pillow forms I use for all of them.
I don’t think I’ll ever get over how much I love glitter iron-on vinyl. It’s so easy to work with and it just makes projects that much better!
So are you ready to make yourself a Lucky Shamrock St. Patrick’s Day Pillow? You should, it really is so easy!
