Simple Father’s Day Gift Supplies:
- Jen Hadfield Everyday Paper
- Gold Foil Thickers
- Hemp Twine
- Journaling Pens
- Adhesive
- Can of Peanuts
- Corner Chomper
After you get your supplies together, measure the can you are covering and cut a strip of paper to go around it. Also cut a narrower strip of paper to go around the center of the can.
Use your adhesive to attach the paper to the can.
Trace your lid. Cut out the paper. Trim the edge of the paper, so it will fit inside the little dropped area on the lid.
Just keep trimming it until it fits the way you’d like it to.
Add the thickers to spell dad, then grab your journaling pen and write the word “Hey” above it. Then attach it to the lid using your adhesive.
Use the thickers to spell “nuts” onto the tag paper.
Write “we are” and “about you!” with your journaling pen, then trim the edges of the paper, and use your corner rounder to punch the corners.
Tie a couple of strands of hemp twine around the can.
Add the tag, then tie it again.
Your little gift is done and ready to give to dad.
These little gifts come together rather quickly, and dad will love having a tasty little snack to munch on.
The gold thickers are a fun way to add a little bling to a gift for a guy, without being too sparkly. 😉
I love that this little gift has the thickers on the top and the tag. The dimension that the thickers add is so fun!
So grab your supplies and get these put together today!
