Oh man! I started working on these a couple of weeks ago, and I’m finally getting them shared. If you have supplies on hand, you’d still have time to get them put together, otherwise, save this fun idea for Simple Thanksgiving Place Cards for next year!

Thanksgiving Place Cards Supplies:
- Fall Patterned Vinyls
- Solid Vinyl in Fall Colors
- Transfer Tape
- Fall Wood Shapes (I found mine in the Dollar section at Target)
- TrueControl Knife
- Cutting Ruler
- Self-Healing Cutting Mat
- Felt
- Felt Balls
- Fabric Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun
- Cricut Explore Air 2
Place your patterned vinyl face down onto the cutting mat. Using your wood shape, decide how large of a piece of vinyl you need. Using the TrueControl Knife and Cutting Ruler, trim the vinyl.
Grab the vinyl square you cut, and have your wood shape with the front side facing up.
Peel the backing off of the vinyl.
Place the vinyl onto the front of the wood shape. Smooth it out well using a squeegee.
Turn your wood shape over, placing it face down on the cutting mat.
Use the TrueControl Knife to trim the extra vinyl from the edges of the wood shape.
Once the edges are trimmed, peel the excess vinyl off.
Using your Cricut machine, cut out the names you need for the place cards.
Weed your designs.
Using transfer tape, transfer them onto the front of the patterned vinyl on the wood shapes.
Make your flowers and glue them onto the wood shapes. If you’re looking for some felt flower tutorials, check out Ameroonie Designs or on Instagram, I have a quick little video in my stories.
These Simple Thanksgiving Place Cards can be used year after year, and are so pretty to add to the table!
They don’t take a lot of time to put together either. If you’ve got the supplies on hand, you can have them made in no time!
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving, if you’re celebrating!
Whether or not you’re putting these together this year or waiting until next year, these make a great addition to your dinner table.
