Here is a scrapbook page I got done today. I’m not sure how much I like how it turned out, but that’s okay. I did enjoy using the Jenni Bowlin shaped paper, and fitting my photos on to one side, and using the other for journaling. It just didn’t seem to flow like I thought it would once I was finished with it. 🙂 It’s always fun to dig out some older pictures and scrap them though.
I cut the shaped paper, then I cut my pictures to fit the shape, and then added the other stuff.
The journaling block. I continue to struggle with using my own handwriting for journaling, it doesn’t always turn out how I want it to, but I want my handwriting in my scrapbooks at the same time, so I’ll continue to write my own. 🙂
The title. The way my son used to say hello was so cute, and that is why I put a dot in the middle of the word.
A book plate I used, just to add a little something.
And a splash of color.
