Have you ever picked up some paper at a scrapbook store and knew you needed to find the perfect pictures for it? I picked up some Echo Park Paper (a walk in the park) a couple months ago, when I saw it, I just knew I HAD to have it! I love this line of paper, and I can’t wait for the new releases that they have coming soon.
So I had this paper on hand, and I had just gotten these pictures printed. I started going through my stash of paper, and found the Echo Park paper, and I knew that I was going to use it for these pictures. I was so excited. I wanted to use more of the patterned paper, but I just couldn’t make it work, but now I have lots left for other projects! 🙂
Here is the scrapbook page. This is me, with my two sisters, goofing around.
Here are the flowers and ribbon that I put on.
And the title. I thought it was fun to use different colors of chipboard letters. These are Heidi Swapp chipboard letters.
And I put the journaling on a tag behind the photo block, then put a flower on the corner, so I can pull it out. Since it’s at the top, it will be easy to access with the page protector.
I was so happy to get these cute pictures scrapbooked! I don’t get many chances to make girly pages, so I jump at the chance when I have it!
Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Paper: Echo Park (a walk in the park); Chipboard Letters: Heidi Swapp; Flowers: American Crafts; Brads: Bazzill, American Crafts; Ribbon: Local Sewing Shop (not sure of brand); Pen: American Crafts; Adhesive: glue dots, UHU.
Also, I am looking for a new kind of adhesive to use to adhere my photos down. I’m wondering if you would share what kind you use, and why you like it. Thanks!
