o you ever just sit down to make card, with no specific intention for them? I do. Thank you cards, Birthday cards, Congratulations cards, are all good ones to have on hand, when you need one in a hurry. But, do you ever sit down to make a card with a specific intention in mind? It’s kind of fun to do sometimes. That is what I did with this one. I knew who I was going to send it to and what the purpose was. I wanted to wish my friend a Happy Fall. And who doesn’t love to receive FUN mail!?! I know I do, and bills don’t count. 🙂
I was so excited to go out and put it in my mail box with the flag up (I can’t wait til she gets it)! I hope when I wrote in it I didn’t sound like a complete dork. The mailman was coming and I needed to get it out there quick. And thinking back about what I wrote, I’m not even sure it made much sense. :/
Here is the card. I thought this cute Echo Park Paper was perfect for a happy fall card. It was really simple to put together, I just cut out the cute flags and used some rub ons the spell ‘happy’. And I cut a strip of the tree paper.
The only rub ons that I had in the right color, were a little big, but I made them work.
I used some glitter glue and made a few of the trees sparkle, you can see it a little bit in this picture.
I took some chipboard letters that I had and stuck them on (with a little ric rac tied around the l) and it was done!
I love how it turned out and how simple and quick it was to make! If you are in the mood to make a card, why not decide now on who you want to send one to, I’m sure it would make their day to get a cute card in the mail.
