Can you believe it! I did a scrapbook page. It feels so good to sit down and scrap, not just make paper crafts! I love doing both, but it’s been way to long since I did a page.
This is a two page layout of my son, shortly after he was born. One of the things I always like to keep is the wristbands from the hospital. That is what I started this layout around.I put them all in this accordion piece of cardstock.
And when I really want to see them, I can pull it out and look.
Other wise, it’s tied shut.
I added these buttons to add a little something extra.
I love the patterned paper that I used on this layout. I used Pebbles Inc., and one of my favorite things is that on the back of the throw away strip they put cute little borders. I kept them. That is where the “it’s a boy” strip came from, as well as the star strip and the mini flags. I inked the edges to soften the look.
Since I did blocks of pictures on this layout, I wanted to break it up a bit, so I put ric rac in between.
And of course I used some Thickers for the title. 🙂
Here is the whole layout again.
Supplies: Cardstock: Coredinations; Patterned Paper: Pebbles Inc; Ink, Letter Stickers: American Crafts; Ribbon: Local sewing store; Accordion Cardstock: Bazzill; Buttons: SEI; Adhesive: Glue Dots.
Have you had time to scrapbook lately?

I love the hospital band ideas…mine are sitting in a box! I may have to copy your idea! So cute!
Very cute page! I’ve only done 1 page in the past month or so. I usually do a weekly challenge with a friend so we can get at least 1 done a week, but we haven’t been keeping up. I’ll blame it on the time of the year—too busy! 🙂
Beautiful scrapbook page! I like how you added the wrist bands! I really need to scrapbook again…it’s been awhile!
Great idea, I need to something with my hospital bands! I like how this saves them and makes them keepsakes instead of the clutter I suspect mine would currently qualify as. Mine are just stuffed in drawer.
