Three Trees

I visited one of my favorite stores again, and I found these cute unfinished trees. The ones that they had finished that were on display were so cute, and I did some similar things on mine, but I made them my own.

For this one, I painted the sides a cream color, and then used mod podge to adhere the paper. I used my brown ink to distress the edges a bit, then I put some wire around it and tied this cute brown and cream ribbon on the wire. You can’t see it, but the stem is brown.
For the other two trees, I painted the sides green, and then put the paper on. I didn’t want to do the wire and ribbon on all of them, so this is what I came up with. I just put buttons on the small one, and then used some Thickers on the big one. I love how they turned out!
Seeing these three trees reminds me of the story of the three trees. I can’t remember all of it off the top of my head, but I know I’ve heard one, and I’m going to have to find it. 🙂

I’m slowly but surely getting up all the Christmas decor. I wish it was done, but we haven’t even gotten our tree yet. I’m a real tree kind of girl, no fake here! 🙂 Do you have all of your Christmas decor up yet?
