So, I decided to post this even though it’s for my husband for V-day, and I’m just crossing my fingers he doesn’t see it on here. Yes, he does get on here sometimes to check things out.
The other day I sat down to make his card, and I decided that I wanted to use something in my stash that I’ve had in there for a LONG time. I found these.
I went through it and found the brackets and the &. I wanted to not use too much pink, but it is a Valentines color. I got a scrap of the paper I used on my framed Love decor, inked the edges of all the pieces, and adhered the items on. I also used my scalloped punch to add just a little more to it.
I used some of my glittery Thickers, and I just love how it turned out.
I also stamped in silver in on the inside (but forgot to take a picture) My Valentine. It’s a $1 stamp I picked up at JoAnn’s. I sure hope he likes it! Now if I could just figure out something meaningful to give to him that day too.
Do you make a card for your spouse, or buy one for Valentines day?

That is so cute!! It’s such a great idea to make a card instead of spending $4 on a bought card. I heard this one couple would go to the store on V-day and find the perfect card for each other and then just read them right in the aisle and put them back so they wouldn’t have to pay for them, but know that they were thinking about each other! 🙂 Yours is cuter and more from the heart!!
I just realized I saw this first thing this morning but didn’t comment. I could have sworn I did. Anyway….I LOVE this card. it’s just so original and unique. very very cute!
