Remember the other day when I said I had something exciting to tell you about? Well, this is it! I’m guest posting today over at The Wood Connection! {YEAH!!} You won’t want to miss it, so go check it out! And since I’m posting over there today, I thought it would be fun to post another project from there here on my blog today. And if you are visiting from The Wood Connection, WELCOME! I’m glad you stopped by!
A while back, I picked up these fun letters from The Wood Connection. I debated on how to paint them, with all the very small areas that needed paint. I ended up spray painting them, and then sanding the drips of paint off. I’m not sure if there would have been any easier way to paint them or not, but after some work I got the paint looking like I wanted.
I decided to use a cream and black paper combination to cover them, so that they’d match almost anywhere I decided to put them. I really like how they turned out!
I used Mod Podge to adhere the paper to the letters. And then sanded the edges to get the paper the precise size.
I added ribbons to some of the letters, but other than that, I kept it pretty simple.
And they look great on my shelf in my living room! This is the shelf I decorate for the different holidays, so this is what I’m going to put on the shelf between holidays. I might move the letters to my table by the window when the shelf has holiday decor on it. 🙂
These wood letter designs are copyright of The Wood Connection. I purchased them unfinished. If you would like to purchase your own, head to The Wood Connection! They have very reasonable prices.

A.DOR.ABLE!!! I love how those turned out. I like how simple you kept it, the font it’s self is so cute. You added the perfect touch to it. LOVE IT!!!!
SO cute!!! I love all your wood pieces….speaking of which, I know this should be easy, but I cannot find anywhere on the wood connection where or how to order??? I haven’t heard back from them on how to order, so I’m hoping you can help me?! Thanks so much!
They turned out darling! I love the black and white that way when you change decor don’t have to redo letters!
