Last week, my husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary! I almost can’t believe that we’ve been married 10 years and known each other for 11. It’s gone by fast. This year I didn’t just want to go to the store and find something I thought he’d like, I wanted to make something that I thought he’d appreciate more. A month or so ago, we were at Temple Square with our friends, the Moody’s and my husband snapped this picture. Since this Temple is where we were married, I thought it would be fun to incorporate into the gift for my husband.I quickly opened it up in Photoshop and added our names and the date we were married.I sent the photo off to be printed at Costco, while I painted the wood block. I went and picked up the picture and put it on, and then put a top coat of Mod Podge on it to seal it as well. I love how quickly this all came together too!
And…my husband thought it was a great gift!
