This month for the card exchange, I decided it would be fun to do birthday cards! It’s also my birthday month, so I thought that would be another fun reason to do birthday cards as well. My birthday was on the 13th, so I got a lot of the packages of cards close to my birthday, and that was SO fun!
After being totally stuck when it came to coming up with a card, this is the card that I came up with, and I really like how it turned out!
The stamp I used is one that I found at Wal-mart, and I thought it was such a cute one. The ink is my very favorite brown ink, from American Crafts!
I used some fun Echo Park patterned paper and the cardstock and ribbon are from Stampin’ Up.
I’m not really a huge fan of the “chevron” design, {it’s growing on me!} but I really like what it has added to this card.
I did run out of the chevron paper, and it was late, so I ended up having to make three cards using this fun brown quartrefoil paper.
I like how they both turned out, and love the bright colors of the cards! I’ll be sharing the rest of the cards from the card exchange later this week!
make a WISH {a big one}
