Oh, it’s been a while. I guess I kind of took a little unintended break from blogging. 🙂 Between being sick last week, and still trying to recover from that, and getting caught up in reading a couple of series of books {partly because I was sick}, I just haven’t done much creating. But I did today, and this was a really quick project! I threw this St. Patrick’s Day Lucky Block together.
I started out with a small block of wood that I had in my stash, and painted the edges green. Then I used some cute green polka dot paper and adhered it to the block.
I distressed the edges of my paper and block, exposing the white edge of the paper, along with some of the wood. Then I used the free Cricut Craft Room program to design my “lucky” vinyl using the Opposites Attract cartridge, and cut it out with the Cricut, then stuck it on.
I added a little bit of ribbon on the side, and that was it!
I love how quick and simple this project was, but it turned out just how I’d imagined it in my head! I love when that happens!
Have you done any creating today?
