Last week, one of my friends, that I visit teacher, had a birthday. I was in need of a simple birthday gift to give her. I picked up some flowers, but I didn’t want to just put the flowers in a vase and call it good. Since I was short on time and didn’t want to come up with a new card on the spot, I decided to just make one like this one, but with different colors. So here it is.
I do wish I would have used smooth cardstock rather than textured, because it makes it hard to read the stamp, but oh well!
For the flowers, I decided I would use a quart size mason jar and embellish it. I put a piece of paper around it and tied a ribbon on to match the card.
I LOVE tulips, and I hope my friend enjoyed these as well.
This was a very simple gift to put together, and while I could have just put these pretty flowers in a vase, I think it is fun to have a little something more.
Do you have any go to gift ideas?
