You would think with the way I like to scrapbook that I would have pictures of my kids in a cute little book in my handbag. Well, I confess, I finally got this made last week and put in my purse. I love it! It just uses wallet size pictures and fits nicely in one of the pockets of my purse.
I started out with six of these badges holders. I just picked mine up at walmart for a couple of dollars. Then I went through my scraps of paper and found boyish ones (Hi, mom of 4 boys!) and then cut them to the size I wanted, then I inked the edges of them. I kept it all pretty simple, but fun.
On the left side of each page is the pictures, and on the right side I decided to right little facts about my kids right now. I also added their ages. I can either leave these like this and make new ones as my boys grow, or I might take it all out and add new pictures and new information sheets. I can always put the pictures and info I pull out onto a scrapbook page.
On the front I used some rub-ons and put a simple title of “my boys” and then added some paper to add character!
I used twine and different ribbons to bind the book with the holes that were already there.
Even my three year old was excited to look through it. He gets excited when he sees pictures of himself.
I’m so excited to have something fun and cute in my purse, so if or when anyone wants to see pictures of my boys, I can pull it out and show them off. 🙂 Wouldn’t this make a great Christmas gift for a grandparent?
