Have you decorated for Spring yet? I decided on St. Patrick’s Day that the green decor was coming down and I was getting the Spring and Easter decor out. Once I had it all out, I thought I need a couple more small things to add to it, so I went and picked some up! Are these small potted Spring flowers not the cutest!?
Of course I headed to The Wood Connection to find these. I decided that I would try to find some paper to use from my very large stash, rather than picking up some more. All of the paper that I used is Echo Park, but it isn’t all from one line. 🙂
For this large flower, I painted the flower center and the outside of the flower yellow, then I painted everything else white.
Before the yellow paint dried on the flower center, I dipped it in glitter. Glitter makes everything more fun, doesn’t it? Also, I decided right at the end to dry brush some pink from the other flower, onto the edges of the yellow. I love what it adds.
For the pot, I couldn’t pass up putting paper on the beadboard, it is one my favorite things to do to add a little bit more pop of color. To finish the pot off after all the paper was on, I tied the ribbon on.
Isn’t the shape of the small flower, just so cute?! I love it! I decided to go pink for this cute flower, and I love polka dots, so you can’t go wrong with those. I mixed my own paint to get the perfect shade of pink for the flower edges, painted the center a turquoise color that I have, and then everything else was painted white on this one as well. I love the orange patterned paper that I found to use for the pot. I think it’s a fun one. Once I had this one all put together, I just finished it off by tying some green ribbon around the stem.
So what do you think? Does this make you wish you had some fun Potted Spring Flowers too? I think these are sure going to brighten my day, every time I see them!

These are adorable! Found you on The Inspiration Gallery! 🙂
