Hello friends! How are you? I stepped away from the computer for the weekend, and it was so nice! It was a fun & busy weekend. I spent some time in my hometown over the last couple of days, seeing family, visiting the cemetery, and all that. Memorial Day has always been one of my favorites, because for as long as I can remember, we have spent the day with family. Before we left town though, we celebrated my husbands birthday. His birthday was Saturday, but I always like to take him balloons at work, and since he wasn’t working on Saturday, I took the balloons on Friday. This year, I decided I wanted to do a little more than just balloons. I also did this Candy Bar Poster. I think this is the first time that I’ve ever put one together, and can I just say, I think they are a little bit harder than they look. 🙂 Obviously, I put this together for his birthday, but you could very easily take out the Happy Birthdays and put in Happy Father’s Day. Or just use some of the ideas to make your own.

I used a hot glue gun to glue my candy bars on and I also used a foam core board for the poster. I really liked how sturdy it is. I was so stumped what I was going to do for my husband this year, and ended up doing this.  I sure hope it can help someone else that might be looking for a gift idea for a birthday or father’s day.
