Mom Planner Review + Giveaway

Disclosure: I was contacted by In The Leafy Treetops to review their Academic Mormon Mom Planner. I received a planner in exchange for the review and doing a giveaway. All opinions are 100% my own.

I am always looking for ways to stay more organized. I am constantly making to do list, writing things on the calendar, using my phone calendar, writing things in the notebook I keep in my purse, etc. But when I go to find what I’ve written down, or put on the calendar, I have to search for it. I am so excited to use this Academic Mormon Mom Planner and have all my lists and appointments on my calendar in one place! Since I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I’m also excited about using the Family Home Evening planning section. There are also pages at the back that are for keeping track of kids cloth sizes and other things they need and want, along with a birthday planning section. I think that is awesome! And it is just so cute too! You should see all the different covers that they have! They also have a version of this planner that is a non-LDS version, so they do have something for everyone!

This Academic Planner starts in August and goes through July of 2015. I like that it goes along with the school year schedule. It makes it easy to keep up with all the school things that are happening. This year, my oldest started in middle school, and my life just got a lot busier! I really like that this planner has full month calendar pages, along with a page for each week. I’m going to use washi tape to color code my calendar for each of my boys.

At the beginning of each month, there is a page for setting goals for relationships. I thought this was great! For me personally, I need to focus more on some of these. I’m excited to see how having this little reminder helps me to strengthen relationships with those around me.

This is the Family Home Evening planning section. I’ll be honest, when it comes to Family Home Evening at our house, it is always planned last minute. My husband or I pick a topic, and then we have a lesson. We hardly ever have treats, or have our boys teach the lessons. It is something that I really want to work on, so I am looking forward to using these pages to plan them out.

I’m in love with these ideas for Conversation Starters! These questions dig a little deeper than just the “how are you doing today?”

This the page that I was telling you about above. There are several of these pages, so you don’t worry about having to share the pages for more than one child. I love that there is a place to write down the wants and needs with prices for each child. There are also places to write down personality characteristics along with your childs favorite things and clothes and shoe sizes. They didn’t leave anything out. I love that!

Last but not least, these tabs! They are so colorful. I really like color, so this was such a nice piece of attention to detail for me. Oh, and each month has a different design for the pages. They are all so pretty!

There are a lot of other really awesome features in this planner, but I don’t want to give them all away. 🙂 You really do need to head on over to their site and check them out though. The covers alone for these planners are to die for!

I have good news for one lucky reader, I am giving away one of these planners. One lucky reader (US Residents only) will receive one planner of their choice, so you can choose the Mormon Mom Planner OR just the Mom Planner (non-LDS version). This is limited to the stock on hand. This giveaway will run through 11:59pm, September 3, 2014. I’ll announce the winner on September 4, 2014. Enter using the Rafflecopter below.

I love them all! But I would probably choose the 2015 Mormon Mom planner. I love all of the aspects of mom-dom that they include here!

These are designed by women who have used them, as they developed them. I like the conversation page and the fact there is daily and monthly calendars.
