As I write this post, it has rained most of the day. All the rain has made me realize that I may be more ready for the fall season than I thought. There are things I like about all the seasons, but Fall really is my favorite. Today I’m sharing this beautiful Autumn Blessings letter set with you.
For this project, you’ll need the following supplies:
- Autumn Blessings set with Vinyl
- Wood Connection Paper
- Light Ivory Paint
- Gold Paint
- Sponge Paint Brush
- Wood Glue
- Ivory Twine
Because this set is longer than 12″ you need to tape your paper together. Line up the polka dots and tape the paper on the back.
Turn your paper and Autumn over and trace it onto the back of the paper.
Next using the light ivory paint, paint the sides and back of the cursive word, along with the block for the Blessings vinyl. For the hard to reach with the sponge brush areas, I used a small paint brush and tooth picks.
While your paint dries, cut out your letters.
Using wood glue and this technique, glue the paper to the wood.
Apply the Blessings vinyl to the board.
Using the gold paint, paint your leaf.
Attach the leaf wherever you’d like it on your letter set. I glued my leaf on, and then tied some ivory twine around it.
Now you have a beautiful piece to decorate your home with for the Fall. And Fall will be here before we know it!
Tell me, would you paper your Autumn letter set or would you paint it?
