Have your kids gone back to school yet? I know that a lot have already gone back, but I know there are a some that haven’t yet. Even though my kids have already gone back, I decided that I wanted to decorate for Back to School. I pulled out my Heidi Swapp Minc Foil Applicator and got to work.
The supplies I used for this project are:
- Heidi Swapp Minc Foil Applicator
- Red Minc Reactive Foil
- Blue Minc Reactive Foil
- Green Minc Reactive Foil
- Gold Minc Reactive Foil
- Heidi Swapp Minc Gallery Wall, Signature
- Heidi Swapp Minc Pinwheels
- Heidi Swapp Minc Jumbo Striped Alphabets
- Heidi Swapp Minc Paper Pad, Signature
I started out by applying foil to the pinwheels. These were fun! They are double sided, and you can foil both sides at the same time!! Cool, huh?! Once foiled, I removed the foil remnants.
Once I had everything foiled, I started putting my pieces together. I used foam dimension squares to adhere the letters to the + paper. I also assembled the pinwheels according to the directions that came with them.
I thought this Brilliant light bulb print was perfect for back to school.
These pinwheels are so fun in any color, but don’t they look great in gold, red, green and blue? Perfect colors for school, I think.
And what is more fitting than “A B C” for Back to School? With a + sign paper for the background. 🙂
I’ve got these set up on my shelf to greet my boys when the come home from school, at least for the next week or so, before I get out the fall decor. 😉
