What colors do you decorate with for Valentine’s Day? I usually stick with the pink, red, and white color scheme, but sometimes I like to add a little blue, purple or even black. This little Valentine’s Day Shelf Decor has lots of sparkle and black and white. I shared this last year on the Core’dinations blog.

Supplies:
- Core’ Couture Red Carpet Cardstock
- Core’dinations Polka Dot Pops – white pearl with black dots
- Wood Tray
- Charcoal Delta Ceramcoat Paint
- Foam Paint Brush
- Adhesive
- Cricut Explore
- Paper Trimmer
Start off by painting the sides of and back edge of the wood box.
Measure the inset part of the back of the box.
Cut your red glittery paper to fit the inset.
Using the Cricut Explore, cut out this fun valentine subway art to fit the back of your box.
Use your adhesive on all the edges of your box.
Adhere the subway art to the back of you box.
That’s it. You’re finished. This project is such a quick and easy one, and I love the shimmer that this paper has!
It’s the perfect addition to any mantel or shelf to add a little shimmer for the Valentine’s Day holiday.
