I can hardly believe that another school year is about to start. It seems like school just got out for the summer! Summer is always nice because the schedules can slip a little, and kids don’t have to be up so early, but it’s always nice to get back into the swing of things and back on a schedule with the beginning of a new school year. This year, I am determined to make going back to school a smooth transition for all of us. This summer, we’ve been using a checklist for my boys, and it has helped them get things done so well! School mornings are hard at our house. Between the two different schools my boys go to, making lunches, getting breakfast, and everything else that goes along with getting ready for school, mornings are crazy! I decided that we needed some checklists for the school year, so today, I’m sharing our Back to School Routine Printable Checklist with you.
I printed out the checklists (you can print your own here, for personal use only), one for all of my boys that are in school.
I ran them through the laminator, making it so my boys could use dry erase markers on them.
Once I had them laminated, they were ready for my boys. I love how checklists keep my boys on task, and help them to remember all the things they need to do. Since I have one boy that’s in middle school, and the others in elementary school, they have to leave at different times. My middle schooler leaves before the other boys are even out of bed. It makes it hard for me to make anything for breakfast, but I still want my boys to have a warm and good for them breakfast, so these Original Jimmy Dean® Pancake & Sausage On a Stick are perfect! I love that they are getting their morning protein, eating something delicious, it’s warm, and so easy to have ready in no time! These make it easy for them to check off “get breakfast” on their lists.
I love how easy the Pancake & Sausage On a Stick are for my kids to prepare. They can pull them out of the package, and get it into the microwave.
My boys love the taste too!
As a mom of five growing boys, it seems like I can’t ever keep enough food around. I like to keep the freezer stocked with items that are great for breakfast and after school snacks as well and these items don’t break the bank either. The Pancake & Sausage On a Stick are great for breakfasts and Tyson® Any’tizers® Snacks make for a great after-school snack. My boys are asking for a snack almost before they are even through the door after school.
Once they get home from school, they can grab their checklist again, and take care of the afternoon list. Tyson® Any’tizers® Snacks make a great after-school snack because they warm up quickly, are delicious, and gives my growing boys more protein. Not only that, but they can be used as part of a meal as well, if we’re headed out the door and in a hurry to get somewhere. It’s also nice to have food on hand so that I don’t have to feel guilty about giving it to my boys.
I like that I can find these easy to make breakfast and snack items in the freezer section of my Walmart Neighborhood Market where I always shop for my groceries. It makes it convenient to pick them up and have on hand.
