I’ve said for a long time that my favorite season are Spring and Fall. There is just something about the weather changing and it’s not too hot and not too cold. It’s just right! But we wouldn’t have either if we didn’t have Winter and Summer. I like those too, just not as much as Spring and Fall. Spring is also a time when I seem to find more motivation in my life. It’s like I’m coming alive again. I’m able to be more creative and have more creative juices flowing, but it’s also a time when I’m busier with work, so finding the balance to get everything done that I want to get done can be tricky. I do still manage to fit in some time to create. I LOVE to create, especial when I’m just creating to create, not because I have to have a project done for the blog. One of my favorite things to create is little gifts to give to others. It doesn’t have to be anything big, just a little something that lets them know you are thinking about them. Give them to your spouse, kids, neighbors, friends, or whoever. They will love it and you’ll have fun creating whatever it is you’re creating. Today, I’m sharing with you how to create these Mini Umbrella Spring Treats. They are the perfect little treat/gift to give to anyone.

Mini Umbrella Spring Treats Supplies:
- Spring Colored Patterned Paper
- Paper Straws
- Cricut Explore Air 2
- Triangle Cellophane Bags
- Fuse Tool
- Scissors
- Baker’s Twine
- Treat
- Glue Dots
The first thing you’ll do is cut out some cupcake wrappers with your Cricut Explore Air 2. You need to shrink them down so they are just larger than the treat you are using.
Slip the end into the slit where it goes, so you end up with your little cupcake wrappers like this. Cut your paper straws so they are the size you need to be your umbrella handle.
Grab your cellophane bags. Warm up the fuse tool, then place a new seal line a couple inches up from the bottom of the bag.
Cut the tip off of your bag, and cut the top off as well, so the bag is much smaller. Place your treat into the bag.
Place a straw into the bag, creating your umbrella handle. Then tie it with baker’s twine.
Place your little treats into the cupcake wrappers.
Punch out your words.
Use your glue dots to attach them to the umbrella handles.
Now you are ready to give your little Mini Umbrella Spring Treats to your friends!
Plus, they just look cute sitting all together. 😉
These really are so simple but they are cute!
