I’ve been so excited to share this little Pot of Gold St. Patrick’s Day Gift with you! I put it together a couple of days ago, got the pictures taken, and then was trying to get them edited yesterday so I could get this post scheduled, and it just didn’t happen. So, here I am writing this post, when I was planning to have it shared hours ago. Such is life, especially lately. Some days (like today) I just want to crawl back in bed, and ignore the world around me, especially my kids. But life as a mom doesn’t really allow that, so I figure it out and hope for the best. Anyway, although I might be sharing this late today, I’m still sharing it. 🙂 And I think this little project turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself.

Pot of Gold St. Patrick’s Day Gift Supplies:
- Printable Tags (for personal use only)
- Minc Foil Machine
- Reactive Foil
- 1.75″ Circle Punch
- Mini Buckets
- Cellophane Bags
- Baker’s Twine
- Nuggets
- Hole Punch
Once you have your tags printed out, place them in the plastic sleeve with your green foil over the top of them.
Set the Minc machine to 3, and once it is hot, run your plastic sleeve through it.
This is my favorite part, every time I use the Minc machine. Pulling that foil off of your project after it’s done will never get old!
Once my print was foiled, I used my circle punch to punch out the tags. I love that the circles are just the right size to have a small white border around them.
Next, punch a hole in the top of your tag. I punched mine next to the top line of text.
I filled my little buckets up with Hershey’s Nuggets. These buckets can fit six of them in the bucket.
I placed my cute little bucket, or pot of gold, into the cellophane bag.
I lifted up the handle, pulled the cellophane together, and tied it at the top using the baker’s twine.
I added my tag and tied the baker’s twine in a bow.
That finished up this cute little project. I really love what the foil adds to the tags!
I like that these buckets aren’t too big, so they work great for giving them away.
Do you have a good friend that you’ll be giving one of these to?
You could also add the tag to any container full of gold candy, and it would work great!
Will you be putting a Pot of Gold St. Patrick’s Day Gift together for anyone this year? If you’re looking for other fun St. Patrick’s Day projects, check out some other ideas I’ve shared here.
